Clair — likeness and presentation study.
A ZBrush likeness study from 2015 — disciplined turnaround views combined with a stylised butterfly-crown presentation render. Presented in both colour and monochrome alongside a full-view turnaround sheet that documents the anatomy from all primary angles.
Turnaround discipline
The turnaround sheet shows the sculpt from standardised views — the format a studio or production pipeline uses to assess a likeness before approving it for further development. Multiple angles make the underlying anatomy visible in ways a single hero render cannot.
Likeness and art direction
Turnaround discipline, likeness observation, and the ability to combine portrait accuracy with an art-directed presentation treatment. The butterfly crown shifts the piece from strict study toward editorial presence without compromising the underlying anatomy.
Colour and monochrome renders
Both colour and monochrome versions are included. Monochrome strips away material distractions and shows form quality directly; the colour render documents how the full presentation was intended to read when surface treatment is applied.
