III. Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Alfahosting GmbH, Edmund-von-Lippmann-Strasse 13-15, 06112 Halle (Saale), Germany. When the website is accessed, the server processes technical connection data including IP address, date and time of access, requested file, referrer URL, browser type, and operating system.
This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure, stable, and technically correct operation of the website. Log data is deleted after no later than seven days unless retention is exceptionally required to investigate a security incident.
IV. Cookies, local storage, and tracking
This website does not use analytics, marketing tracking, or non-essential cookies. No marketing tags, social embeds, or analytics scripts are loaded.
Where Cloudflare Turnstile is used on the contact page for abuse prevention, this is limited to that page and to anti-spam protection. The concrete live Turnstile configuration should still be reviewed before launch if its technical behavior changes.
V. Contact form and email enquiries
When you submit a contact enquiry, the data you enter is processed in order to receive, review, and answer your enquiry.
Form data collected: name or studio, email address, project overview, optional references or links, and language value. In addition, a Turnstile security token is processed on the contact page to protect the form against abuse.
Enquiry handling is usually based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the message relates to a potential commission or contractual relationship. Otherwise, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on the legitimate interest in orderly communication and abuse prevention.
Enquiries are forwarded via PHP mail delivery to the recipient inbox configured on the server. Data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully handled unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests require longer retention. Business-relevant correspondence may be retained longer where commercial or tax-law obligations apply.
VI. Cloudflare Turnstile
The contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, to detect automated submissions and abuse.
When Turnstile is loaded and verified, technical connection data such as IP address, browser and device information, and the generated verification token may be transmitted to Cloudflare.
This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in protecting the website and contact form against spam, misuse, and automated attacks. Where a third-country transfer takes place, it is based on the safeguards made available by Cloudflare.
VII. Self-hosted fonts
The fonts used on this website are served from the same server as the site itself. No connection is made to Google Fonts or another external font provider when they are displayed.
VIII. External links
This website contains links to external services such as ArtStation, Behance, LinkedIn, IMDb, and annaschmelzer.com. Once you click an external link and leave this site, only the privacy information of the respective provider applies.
