Femaya — Bayala elf production sculpt.
An elf figure I sculpted for Schleich's Bayala line in 2016 — one of many elves, mermaids and creature companions I delivered across several years on the range. Orchid-themed styling, clay renders and a dark studio pass.

The Bayala line
Bayala runs on a specific softness — readable silhouette, gentle proportions, character clarity for children and collectors alike. Every figure I deliver has to survive injection moulding and retail handling, not just look good in a render.
Delicacy versus the mould
Femaya balances ornament with structure. Lace-thin detail and flowing hair argue with everything a physical toy needs; resolving that without losing the Bayala look is the job on every figure in the range.
Clay before colour
The clay renders show primary form before surface treatment — the pass Schleich uses to review sculpt quality. Final presentation views add material, colour and the orchid styling.
