Frankenstein's Monster — photoreal character sculpt.

A high-fidelity character sculpt focused on facial anatomy, skin surface control, and presentation quality built to hold under close scrutiny. Developed alongside shotsculpting work at Framestore London, where Anna Schmelzer contributed to productions for Warner Bros. and Disney.

Framestore and production context

Anna Schmelzer contributed shotsculpting to Framestore London productions including Tom & Jerry (Warner Bros., 2021) and The Little Mermaid (Disney, 2023). This personal project applies the same discipline — surface restraint, anatomical precision, and presentation quality — without a production brief.

Anatomy and surface discipline

Anatomical control, skin-surface restraint, and a presentation standard that holds from any angle. The gallery shows four views: hero render, clay, side, and wire — each chosen to reveal different aspects of the sculptural decisions.

Hero, clay, side, and wire views

The four-view gallery covers the full range of review formats a film or VFX context requires — final render alongside clay, profile, and wireframe. Clean underlying geometry and consistent form across all rendering modes.
